Predator: Badlands

Follows the familiar sci-fi trope where the creature (Yautja, in this case) isn't the true threat — corporate/military greed is. The twist has become so ubiquitous that it's almost expected now. What saves it: Trachtenberg's POV structure puts you with the Predator, so when the human betrayal lands, you feel it from the outside in. Not subversion, but a fresher angle on a tired premise. Visually stunning, tense third act, didn't overstay its welcome.
